At SEND to Learn Nursery we believe that our parents should expect the best for their child regardless of differing circumstances.
At SEND to Learn our aim is to provide exceptional inclusive nursery education for children aged 9 months - 5 years old, in a friendly child-centred environment, delivered by highly experienced and motivated staff who understand the needs of the children in their care.
Although open to all students, we specialise in children with additional needs and complex medical needs, with care and education individualised to provide all children with the best opportunities for development. We offer an enriched and enhanced curriculum, and have a unique approach to learning which is built upon the best aspects of Special Education Needs Education and Early Years Education and Child Care. We follow the EYFS framework, with a focus on the various communication and sensory needs of our children.

SEND to Learn Briardale - Briardale House

"My daughter goes to SEND to Learn, she is two. She started in January as a quiet, shy little girl and is now so much more confident. She loves nursery and can’t wait to get there. Her little brother joined her for the holiday club and he enjoyed it too.
As a parent I’d rate the nursery highly. The team of staff are friendly and welcoming, they provide regular updates on what kids have been up to, the sessions are more flexible than school nurseries and they offer lunch which our daughter loves."

"My daughter Betsy attends SEND to Learn and loves every day! Betsy has Down's Syndrome, which means she needs additional support to learn new skills. Kath and the team provide such high quality teaching, meaning Betsy is progressing brilliantly. I love that they incorporate all of Betsy's multi disciplinary team's targets into her daily goals, such as her physiotherapy targets through yoga. The use of Makaton throughout the day has supported Betsy's inclusion and communication. Nowhere else would Betsy get the kind of intensive early intervention that she does at SEND to Learn.
